Sankalpah is a Sanskrit word that means intention, dedication, commitment, or willful determination. Intention-setting takes yoga beyond being just a physical practice, and brings it off your yoga mat and into your life. Setting intentions is so powerful because not only do we focus on it during our yoga practice, but our mind will often continue to be drawn to it outside of class.
Join us for 5 days and 4 nights of healing practices that will help you to create a fertile garden - clear out the weeds, till the soil, fertilize, and plant your intentions, set your goals for 2022 - to allow the "seeds" to sprout into manifest form naturally. We will practice yoga and meditation, learn and discuss practical theory, and enjoy like-minded company and community of truth-seekers.
We will move into stillness and silence on days 1 and 2. A special Golden Silence practice will be observed on days 3 and 4 outside of class. We will re-integrate communication on the last day with feedback and sharing/closing circle.
You will learn some interesting facts, hear some inspiring stories, and explore, discover, and develop practices that can begin or accelerate your growth.
We will also have some partner work. It's going to be AMAZING.. maybe even life changing!
I hope to see you at the retreat!
With lots of LOVE,
Ricky Tran
