Join us for a day of mini yoga workshops and community SATURDAY, May 28, 2022!
Ricky will offer several workshops breaking down essentials for new students as well as milestones for advancement for seasoned practitioners. Please bring a couple yoga blocks, yoga strap, yoga mat and towel. There will be some partner work.
9:00 AM - Check in and set up group and personal space
10:00 AM - Short Hatha Yoga Practice (kriya, asana, mudra/bandha, pranayama)
10:30 AM - Introductions and short talk with Ricky
11:00 AM - Mini Workshop Backbends & Heart Openers
11:30 AM - Mini Workshop Arm Balances (crow, handstand, jump through)
12:00 PM - Mini Workshop Inversions (forearm balance, headstand, scorpion)
12:30 PM - Mini Workshop Hip Openers & Forward Bends
1:00 PM - LIGHT Lunch Break - Personal Silence or Networking
2:00 PM - Partner Work - Mashing - Releasing tense connective tissue and healing scar tissue
3:00 PM - GUIDED YOGA PRACTICE - Integrating the mini workshops in a VINYASA FLOW
4:00 PM - Kirtan - Pranayama - Meditation - Deep Relaxation
5:00 PM - Group clean (we ask that you stay and lend a hand for the group clean so we leave the sacred space cleaner than when we arrived)
6:00 PM - Depart
You will learn some interesting facts, hear some inspiring stories, and explore, discover, and develop practices that can begin or accelerate your healing and growth.
